MARRIAGE SEARCH-FOR ADVICE TO REPAIR YOUR RELATIONSHIP

MARRIAGE SEARCH-FOR ADVICE TO REPAIR YOUR RELATIONSHIP

You do realize that no matter how badly you messed up and how much you hurt your wife, it still may be possible to reconcile things, right?  It will not be the easiest thing you have ever done but it may be possible by doing an "advice for marriage search" on your computer. You just have to decide if you and she are willing to invest the time and make the effort to do what is necessary to fix what is broken.

If you decide that you can't really see yourself in it for the long haul, you really should consider letting her go so she can find the happiness she deserves. If you start down that road and then back off you will have only deepened the hurt by getting her hopes up and disappointing her further. So, make sure you have a good foothold before you even make the suggestion to her about an advice for marriage search.

If you are still reading I guess that means that you are willing to do whatever it takes to prove to your ex that you are a changed man and that you still love her and want her back.  Hollow promises are not going to work anymore. It is time to man up and put your money where your mouth is.

Step one of the process is figuring out what you need to change. This may sound easy but it's actually one of the hardest things to do because it requires you to look at yourself with complete honesty and many times we do not totally like what we see.  If you really want to get your ex wife back you need to figure out what to change.

If you're not totally sure what you need to do, just think back to when the two of you were married. What did you argue about? More than likely your ex told you the things that you said or did, or vice versa, that caused her hurt and pain. That is a great place for you to start. When she tried to tell you how she felt did you listen? Or did you get angry and defensive and feel like she didn't love you?  That's a common response many people have. They somehow take it personally when their spouse tries to let them know how they're feeling. When your ex told you she felt a certain way about something, it's about her, not you.

If you really can't figure the problem out and you can't really find anyone to ask, you might want to spend a few sessions with a therapist. Most people find this prospect daunting. A lot of people won't admit it's daunting they tend to use terms like "It's a waste of time" or the think they do not need a "shrink" but in reality they're really just afraid to hear the truth.  Anyway, a therapist can help you cut through all your own issues and will show you the things you need to see but aren't quite able to see on your own.

Remember, start looking online by doing an "advice on marriage search", this process really is the only way you can do what needs to be done to reconcile things with your ex.

FORGET DIVORCE - SAVE YOUR MARRIAGE

Is your marriage having trouble to the extent that you are considering getting a divorce?  Well have you thought about seeing a marriage counselor?  There are many different marriage counselors and it can be difficult knowing which one is worth going to.  Let's take a look at some things you should look out for in a marriage counselor.
The first thing you need to do is to find out what their credentials are.  There are basically three types of counselors as follows:
1. Ph.D. or Psy.D. level counselor.  These counselors have put in the hard work to get their positions.  They have been to graduate school for a minimum of five years and would have written a dissertation.  They would have performed at least 3000 hours of therapy while supervised by an experienced psychologist.  A person must have a doctoral level degree to be legally referred to as a 'clinical psychologist'.  Ph.D.'s, although they have put in the hard work, can tend to be more academic in nature and you may find that they will do a bit of forensic work along with the therapy.
2. M.S.W. - Master of Social Work.  This type of counselor is trained to apply social theory to specific situations.  They can work with individuals or with institutions.
3. M.S. or M.A. - or also known as 'Marriage and Family Therapist'.  These counselors may only work with individuals or with small groups.  They will have gained a 2 year degree and have done 1500 hours of supervised therapy.
If you are planning to use insurance cover to help fund your marriage counseling then they will probably point you in the direction of a Marriage and Family Therapist or a M.S.W. as these are less expensive than a Ph.D. level counselor.
The second thing you need to do is find out how much the counseling will cost.  You will find that clinical psychologists are generally more expensive and Marriage and Family Therapists will be the least expensive.  The least expensive may not always be the best option, you need to choose the best option for saving your marriage.
You need to consider both the individual session cost as well as the overall cost for the entire length of treatment.
Some therapists may have a sliding scale fee and this is often based on a couple's income.  It is usually non-profit institutions that will offer this type of fee which can make counseling affordable for those who may not otherwise be able to afford it.
The third thing that you need to look at is the policies that a therapist has.  Some questions you may want to ask are:
* Do you still pay for a session if you miss it or cancel it?
* If you go on vacation and let them know ahead that you will miss a session will you still be required to pay for it?
* Does the therapist accept phone calls at home or outside of normal session times?
* Is there an alternative therapist that you can call in an emergency?
A Marriage and Family Therapist is trained to help families work through any issues so it is their job to help you to save your marriage.  You should feel comfortable talking to a counselor and if for any reason you just don't feel comfortable with a particular therapist then you should stop seeing them and find one that you will be comfortable with.
Before giving up on your marriage and filing for divorce, try marriage counseling to try and save your marriage. By

how to be a challenge to your girlfriend

How To Be A Challenge To Your Girlfriend
So you want to know how to be a challenge to your girlfriend, huh? While there is nothing wrong with that, it does beg the question of why you want to be a challenge, and what exactly does that mean? Perhaps it is that you are worried about her breaking up with you, or maybe it's because you heard that women like there men to be complicate, or it could be that she has accused you of being a pushover and she would like you to change. Whatever the reason, there are things you can do to add more depth to your relationship.
1. Examine your motives. Your reasons for wanting to present more of a challenge to your girlfriend will make a big difference in how successful you are, those same reasons may also provide insights into problem areas in your relationship. For example, if you want to be challenging because you're afraid she will find someone else, then you need to examine the source of that insecurity. If you want to do it because you love her and you think she will be happier because of it, then it shows that you have good intentions.
2. Learn to communicate effectively. Okay, you want to know how to be a challenge to your girlfriend, but you still need to be able to talk to each other. Learning good communication skills will make it easier for the two of you to talk and work things out. It can also add an element of challenge to your relationship because it will require both of you to think carefully about what you say to each other, and how you say it.
3. Don't let her take you for granted, and vice-versa. Not taking each other for granted can be a huge challenge all by itself. The problem with her taking you for granted is that she won't even be aware of it, which is exactly what the definition of taking someone for granted is. By being aware of it, and pointing it out to her, you can become more of a challenge because she will now have to make an effort to no longer take you for granted.
4. Get of the relationship rut. Nothing is less challenging than being predictable. It seems that the longer two people are together, the deeper their rut becomes, and that rut leads to boredom, and boredom can lead to infidelity or breaking up. However, if you vary your routine, can be somewhat unpredictable, and embrace spontaneity, then you can break out of that right. Doing this will help to keep things fresh in your relationship and your positively impulsive behavior will be a pleasant challenge for your girlfriend.
5. Don't be a jerk about it. Some guys make the mistake of thinking that women like a guy who is a jerk, but the truth is that they are just looking for a guy who is exciting. As you have seen, how to be a challenge to your girlfriend requires a few simple changes, and you make all of them and be a nice guy at the same time..

Inlaws In Marriage-Tips To Deal With Inlaw Dynamics

Inlaws in marriage, wow, I can't think of another topic that has fueled the routine of more stand up comics than this. It can be a slippery slope to be sure. You want to like your in-laws, and have them like you. But sometimes they just don't know when to quit, do they? Finding common ground, and peace will require a few simple techniques for you and your spouse to learn.
My first marriage ended in divorce. It wasn't a shock to anyone. My husband begged me to marry him shortly after we started dating. I, of course, said no at first since it was just too soon. But as we got to know each other better and fell in love, my "no" turned to a "yes" and we were married.
The problems started long before the wedding bells started ringing. During the planning of our wedding his mother would constantly barge in and want to make changes to our plans. The truth is that that wouldn't have been such a problem except for the fact that my spineless soon-to-be husband let her!
That is rule number one when dealing with Inlaws in marriage: always, always keep a united front. You can argue like cats and dogs when you are alone behind closed doors, but when someone else (yes, even a parent) tries to make decisions or change existing plans you tell them no!
I'll tell you right now, it's a real kick in the teeth when the person you love and who you think loves you will take his mothers advice and make changes to your wedding plans without even asking you for your opinion. And yes, I know what you're thinking, I probably should have called it off right then and there.
And that leads me to point number two: the problems are usually pretty easy to spot if you aren't actively trying to ignore them . If your spouse was unable to set proper boundaries with their parents before the two of you got married, what in the world made you think they would after you got married?
It's wonderful that they have a close relationship with their parent(s), but there still has to be boundaries. It's you and them now not them and their parents. That may sound harsh but that is the way it has to be. You and them are the couple, you are in this life together and must make your decisions together. It's fine to get the opinion of a parent, it's even advisable since their experience may be able to help you make better choices, but ultimately decisions have to be made by the two of you only.
When it comes to dealing with Inlaws in marriage it's all about setting boundaries. The longer the two of you have been together (and the longer your inlaws have gotten their own way) the harder it will be to establish those boundaries, but if you want your marriage to succeed you must do it. And you and your spouse must be able to find some common ground. A therapist may be able to help with that part.

Saving Marriage-A Cherished Institution Of The Past

It used to be that marriage was considered a cherished institution by the majority of people. But something has happened in recent years, and the idea of marriage isn't held in the same high regard by nearly as many people. That would certainly be one explanation for the higher divorce rate. Is saving marriage even worth it in the modern world, and if so, what are some ways to make it happen?
Let's be blunt about the state of marriage as it used to exist. While it was a lifelong commitment and it was incredibly difficult to get a divorce, this wasn't always a good thing. For example, a wife that was being abused rarely had no other choice than to bear it. That clearly isn't a good thing and is one of the reasons divorce laws have been loosened over time.
We can see that marriage isn't always a good thing, and even the purists out there will freely admit there are some cases where a marriage can and should be dissolved (even the Bible says adultery can be grounds for divorce). On the other hand, it doesn't make sense to let people marry and divorce as though they are going through a revolving door. So, on to saving marriage.
If you are married, then your marriage is probably the most important one to you; and rightfully so. You may think of saving marriage in more personal terms, especially if you are in a rocky relationship and have a hard time getting along. You want to know what you can do to save your marriage, and may not be all that concerned about it as a whole.
Saving marriage can only be achieved by keeping couples together (again, except in extreme cases). The couple who is facing tough times doesn't need to worry about the whole institution. They should do what they can to fix their marriage, because every marriage counts. In fact, if you are happily married and there is anything you can do to help a couple going through a rough spot, then by all means do so.
The more difficult part of saving marriage is to shift the collective attitude to one of respect for being married. How? There are no easy answers, but we have to start somewhere. A very simple first step is to treat marriage with deep respect. No more dirty jokes about cheating spouses, no more talk of the "old man" or "old lady", no more making light of it. Now, that doesn't you shouldn't have a good sense of humor; not at all. After all, being able to laugh is a great way to get along with others, including your spouse.
Saving marriage may seem quaint to a lot of people today, but it has a lot of benefits. For example, studies have shown that married people tend to live longer. Also, divorce not only hurts emotionally, it hurts financially, too. But, if more of us can be committed to making marriage work, then it will be better for everybody.

Relationships And Cheating - Dont Go Hand In Hand

Some people have been burned by infidelity before and since they have had so many bad experiences they may mistakenly think that relationships and cheating go hand in hand. For the record, nothing could be further from the truth. There are many people who have resisted temptation and have never cheated on their partner. If you have a skewed idea of what a relationship should be like because of some past experiences, read on.
Many people believe that whether we like it or not, everything that happens in our life is a direct result of the choices and decisions we make. Now please note, that does not mean that when things to wrong it's your fault, it just means that often one thing leads to another and the choices and decisions you have made will help determine where things go.
So, if you continually have bad relationships then you have to determine what you are doing that encourages you to settle for people who are so flawed that they can't make a full commitment to you. What "vibes" are you putting out that attracts the wrong type of person to you?
So instead of repeating the same old habits and behavior and getting the same old results why not figure out what you do to attract the wrong person? Sometimes we unconsciously sabotage ourselves because we don't really believe that things will work out or because we don't really feel like we are deserving of happiness.
If you find that this pattern describes you than you really should take a little time and get some counseling so you can change your behavior and your expectations. You do not have to settle for being in a relationship with someone who you can't count on or who won't respect and love you. You deserve better.
You don't have to settle for an abusive relationship with someone who you can't trust. Cheating does not, and should not, be a part of a relationship... period.
A good therapist can work with you and help you determine why you settle for self destructive behavior. Once you find the root cause of your issues you can find a way to work on them and move past them.
It's never easy for anyone to admit they have problems and need some help, but for anyone who seems to always attract the wrong kind of person and who continually gets involved with people who only end up letting them down, they can benefit from some soul searching and some lifestyle changes. A counselor can help you with that.
You need someone who can help steer you in the right direction and help you see things that you may be too close to see on your own. You want a non judgmental person by your side to help you face, and change, your issues so you can find happiness.
No matter who you are and no matter what your past relationships have been like, you can have a great, loving and respectful relationship. Relationships and cheating do not have to go together, you can break the cycle. You need someone who can help steer you in the right direction and help you see things that you may be too

The Skills You Need To Get A Boyfriend - Strong Tips

The Skills You Need To Get A Boyfriend - Strong Tips

Have you been longing to find the perfect man but just don't have much luck in the boyfriend department?  Does it feel like guys are just not interested in you?  Are you the only one in your friend group that doesn't have a boyfriend?  Perhaps it's time you developed some new skills that might help you to get a date.
It is actually possible to acquire new skills that can help you to overcome the obstacles that you face when trying to find a boyfriend.  You can make some mental and physical changes, become more motivated, plus a few more ideas and you will be on your way to having that special man in your life.
You may be thinking that it's always the boy's fault that you haven't found the right man, but you also need to consider that it could be something that you are doing.  Perhaps you are very shy and find it difficult to approach a man can initiate conversation.  When you first meet a guy, he doesn't know the real you and only see's the outer girl, so he may not realize that you are very shy and might mistake your shyness for being a bit snobby or stand offish.  This can possibly turn a guy off and he may never get to know the real you.  It isn't easy meeting new people, particularly of the opposite sex, if you are a shy person so this may be the first obstacle that you need to overcome.
Look at your body language
You need to consider your body language and behavior as these could give the wrong message to a potential boyfriend.  If you are shy and withdrawn, men may see you as not approachable, but if you are outgoing and friendly then it will be reciprocated by any men you meet.  Shyness can often be mistaken for pride and coldness, although that isn't who you really are, this is what your body language and behavior may be portraying.
You might be a great person who is friendly and caring and that is fantastic, but a guy needs to know that to be attracted to you.  You need to build up your self confidence so that you can show the 'real you' to everyone that you meet, rather than them miss out by not getting to know you better.  If you have been rejected a number of times you may be thinking that you aren't good enough or attractive enough, but chances are that you are attractive and a great person and it may just be your body language that is letting you down.
Look at your past
Think about your past and the times when you have received compliments about your beauty, your skills, and your personality and so on.  I'm sure if you think about it you will remember occasions when you have received compliments and all of these compliments are proof of your worth.  Whenever you are feeling low in confidence and lacking self esteem, think back to a time when someone complimented you and it will give you a boost.
Put in an effort to be extra friendly
Even though you really are a friendly person, your shyness and lack of self confidence may stop you from being outgoing and as friendly as you could be.  Put in an effort to be friendly more by doing simple things like smiling at a stranger, greeting people with a 'good morning' or helping someone whenever you have the opportunity.  Try to do these little things as often as you can and you will soon become more comfortable talking to strangers.  This is a big skill for you to use to meet a nice guy.
You need to develop the skill of initiating a conversation with someone and by saying hello and smiling at a stranger is a good place to start.  You can also ask questions about a product you want to buy instead of just picking it up and buying it.  By asking questions you are initiating a conversation with the shop assistant and helping to develop your new skill.
It is a matter of practising and developing your social skills to overcome your shyness and be a little more outgoing.  Men will soon look at you in a different way and will be more likely to approach you and begin a conversation.  You will soon find yourself having more fun, being happier and others will see you happier and they will enjoy your company.
When you develop your social skills you will soon find yourself fighting guys off and will have the pick of the bunch.  It isn't always easy to change the way that you are, but with a bit of practise you will soon have those skills you need..
